Bucharest, January 22nd, 2011 – The legal classes of the second Radio School edition came to a successful completion, under the tutorship of Cosmin Mocanu, partner of Strătulă Mocanu & Asociații, in January 2012.
The Radio School project organized in Bucharest and Cluj by the radio station with its former name City FM (and current name Click FM) is an unprecedented project in Romania, as it is the second of its kind in Europe, after the Radio School in London. The project, financed by European funds, has the object and purpose of providing additional and specialized training to journalism students who want to activate in the radio field, subsequent to graduating college.
The second edition of the Radio School in Bucharest trained students from the first, second and third year of Journalism Colleges in Bucharest and Cluj.
The participation of Strătulă Mocanu & Asociații at this project’s second edition was achieved through Mr. Cosmin Mocanu, attorney-at-law, mentor of the legal courses of the Radio School. The courses held within this module offered the Radio School students access to the advanced theoretical and practical knowledge in areas of interest for any radio man, such as copyright, advertising and audio-visual content.
“For the courses taught within the Radio School project, we aim at a mainly practical approach of the legal notions that the future journalists will no doubt encounter in their future activity. I must admit I am very impressed with the interest the graduates of the second class showed for the project in general, and for the expertise and professional knowledge provided by the legal courses in particular. I was particularly delighted to observe that since the first class, there was an increase in the interest of the students, as well as in the quality of their performance in the class. This achievement encourages us to believe the future of this project is bright”, declares Cosmin Mocanu, Partner of “Strătulă Mocanu & Asociații” and mentor of the legal module for the first Radio School edition.
